[Input related Feature Request] Vmax Limiter

Hello,

i once (2-3 years ago) suggested a feature in a live stream but i think i was misunderstood. And i wonder why no one ever wrote about that and takes it as grantet or overseas this.
But i would like to have a Keybinding to have a Max-Speed limiter to make landing yeasier (yes, you get limited in stations, but hear me out please)

Example:
Take a modded Xperimental (Or any other fast ship doing around 700m/s).
- If you want to dock on a station, everythin is finde. You get slowed down so you can only do around 45m/s. There you can land on the landing bay. All good.
- If you want to dock on a L/XL Ship, you don't have this slowdown effect (i think its because it would breakt the L/XL ship, i don't know). To land there with a very fast ship is hell, because you tend to shoot over the docking area so that even an MK2 landing computer does not trigger always. Maybe you don't feel that with playing with mouse and keyboard, but like with HOTAS or shoulder trigger where they behave on how strong you press them down you have the problem that moving them just a litte, can mean that you go from 20m/s to 400m/s when trying to land on a ship. While you try to get around 120m/s to not be slow as a snail but not to fast to land halfway properly.

It would be nice to configure a Button (and/or axis) to regulate the vmax output of the trusters, so if you move the triggers or hotas 40% up or 30% (i mean you push on just a feeling) it means getting 130m/s from 350m/s vmax vs. 400m/s from 1100m/s vmax.

On what HOTAS the throw of the throttle is so short/imprecise that one cannot control the speed adequately?

Well i use the Thrustmaster TWCS. If i move it just slightly, 1-2 cm (don't take that number for granted, i did not mesure the lengh of the rail to know how far i pushed) i am at around 350m/s in my xperimental. Thats around 30% of its vmax of 1095m/s.
The problem is not that its not controlling imprecise, the problem is that the faster your vmax is the faster is you a low percentage of its vmax. While my chimera was at 150m/s this ships gets almost 3 times that fast, thats regular speed for the most heavy fighters in game.

If the game would alow me to set the axis sinseibility to work exponentially, so that the farther i push the stronger the axis is moved, would help too, so there would be no need for a vmax slider button/axis.

Is that also called "response curve" by some? "Simulator" games might be more likely to offer such options application-side. Does TWCS have "T.A.R.G.E.T" software, where such curve could be adjusted?

Overall, I tend to fly Dragon Raider that barely cruises at 700 m/s, so dropping to 100 m/s is a lesser feat. (With both Saitek X52 and VKB STECS throttles.) Furthermore, I can dash at landing pad from criminal angle at high speed and the Docking Computer Mk2 tends to grab the ship (although I have "fallen through" to inside of the Dock Module once or twice).
