Unmodified save
A specific station module on my station is only visible when looking at it at a specific angle. The vid clip will show where the effected module is so you can find it better.

See the 1-tile connector attached to the hexadock. It flickers in/out of existence.
Also, I see this regularly. In station editor, smallest connectors disappear at a certain distance or angle. Probably because they're displayed at lowest possible LOD. Happens with base connectors with length of one.

Ah! I see it now. I was looking at the main block of modules.

It seems that under certain situations X4 can be overly aggressive with culling objects.
I reported something similar a year or more ago.
I never pushed to give it more attention as it doesn't really impact gameplay (and then I promptly forgot about it until now).

EDIT: confirmed and fixed the issue with the datavault.
