Unmodified save
The statistic that tracks the amount of time spent in SETA gets modified by SETA itself so to get the correct IRL time of sitting in SETA you need to subtract time saved by SETA from time spent in SETA. I do not know if this is intended or not, but with how I understand the term time spent in SETA it should track the IRL time spent in SETA mode instead of getting modified by SETA itself.

Perhaps think of that statistic as just an informational comparator for play styles. Gameplay-time itself shouldn't be affected by SETA, just the player's perception of it - hence it's more about what time the player 'felt' was 'saved'.
As I said, SETA doesn't actually change player gameplay-time as every NPC ship etc acts differently to match, and so not just the player; it just perhaps makes the player's brain find some periods and activities less boring by making everything appear to speed up. Also remember that the SETA rate can be varied at will and so may vary across different in-game periods.

A dog has a master; a cat has domestic staff.
