[Mod] Star Trek Shippack and Battlestar Galactica

Hello,

yesterday I updated the Star Trek mod and thought it's time to show it in the forum, the Battlestar mod has been out for a while.
Both mods are meant to be played with VRO, but also work without, just the balance of weapons/ship isn´t inline with Vanilla.

Star Trek Shippack

L- Ships:
- Excelsior, Constitution 2 (Ent-A), Shang-Ri-La, Miranda, Akula, Hornet, Kronos One (Ktinga), Azel Warbird

M- Ships:
- Klingon Bird of Prey

S- Ships:
- Galileo Shuttle

XS- Sips:
- Workbee

The Excelsior and Constitution 2 each have their own animated bridges which are still WIP, there are still many screens missing which will be added over time. The Kronos One uses the Split L bridge and the Bird of Prey has its own cockpit, which is also not quite finished yet.
The Constitution 2 has an integrated room on deck 2 where the empirecontrol opens when you sit down on the couch, the hangar is animated and only the shuttle can land there, no S-ship.
The bird of prey has animated wings that change position depending on the situation, there are no cloaks for the Klingon ships, I did make an effect for it but scripting it to activate it in the game is too complicated, if it works at all.
The Klingon ships have their ship IDcode in Klingon alphabet, each ship has its own weapons/shields and engines which all have sound effects, there are 2 game starts and 2 main menu backgrounds.

Battlestar Galactica
Adds the Battlestar Galactica and Viper Mark 2 as XL and S ships to the game. Both ships are animated but I deactivated the arm animation of the Galactica (nothing is easy to do in this game..).

The Galactica has its own docks for normal S-ships and the Viper as well as the internal hangar, which is walkable with a launch tube for the Viper, all animated.
Again, the ships have their own weapons/shields and engines with sound effects. I have also added a new game start, main menu background and a new texture for the radar in the game. There are also 4 new paint jobs for the ships, but they are only available when you use the new Gamestart or if you have the Paintjob mod to buy paint jobs, you can buy them from the dealer.

The Star Trek Mod was updated with 2 new L sized ships, the Shangri- La and Azel Warbird. Also some adjustments to weapons, prices, travel speed, the exact patchnotes are on the nexus page.

both mods where updated to 7.5

Battlestar:
  • New s- sized Ship for Xenon with sounds and weapons
  • New Texture Material for Galactica and map icons for mod ships
  • Vanilla Paintjobs now work on Galactica and Viper
  • Updated mod to the new flight model
  • New and adjusted sounds
  • Adjusted weapon dmg and changed ciws fire pattern

Star Trek:
  • 2x new L Ships for Federation (Miranda)
  • 1x new XS drone as repairdrone (Workbee)
  • Added Beam turrets/ weapons to Klingon and Romulan
  • Finished propulsion bridge screens and added environment screens
  • Updated ships/ engines to the new flight model
  • Added a hallway to the constitution dockingbay and fixed the dock entry for shuttles
  • Ships now have they own map icons
  • Startmenu 1 was changed and has now a second diorama (as in timelines)
  • Startmenu 2 was changed and is still wip
  • Made a balance pass on hulls/ shields/ weapons/ turrets and prices
  • Adjusted torpedo visibility and the missiles have increased speed/ maneuverability
  • The ship textures/ materials where updated/ reworked
  • Changed the constitutions docking angle and added glow pieces to the inside of the nacelles
  • Adjusted ships engine sounds volume

The Star Trek shippack was updated to version 1.45

Changelog 1.40:
- Added Regular Ktinga as L- Ship
- Resized Kronos One down by 23% and now it has a Shuttlebay, also added the limit tag so it should be only possible to build once, needs a new save or exisiting ships are destroyed and rebuild
- Added Workbee Cargo drone as consumable
- Added Voice Line for Miranda class ships

Changelog 1.45:
- Remade Constitutions texture/material to be the same as miranda and shang ri la
- Added Akula- class L ship
- Added Hornet- class L- ship
