Live stream will most the time simulate ship movement but combat and turret behavior is not live or simulated properly like you are in the area so the instance is delayed or spotty behavior at best.
Numerous times I've viewed fleet combat and turrets of the viewed target will not be active but everything else will be attacking it. Turret AI behavior is also lacking and non responsive at times. Seen an xenon I close range to a TRI defense station not firing and the station not firing like they don't recognize each other or the Turret behavior or capt behavior is not recognizing the attack order. Though when in the area in person everything acts accordingly but not in LIVE STREAM. Also S & M ships won't attack but act like they are just no firing.
So many times have to TP to own ships in area or have to fly there for the true ship behaviors to work.

"delayed or spotty behavior at best" That sounds much like differences in behaviour between high and low attention detections. If you are IS and nearby then high attention will always apply, but for remote viewing from OOS or far away then it may be more problematical for the game to decide such things on a continuous basis.
