Another instance when drones block capital ship. This time it's two repair drones preventing the Phoenix to get repairs at auxiliary ship. Please add option to destroy my own drones. This is not the first time I bumped into similar issue.

Re: Repair drones preventing repair at Aux ship
Greetings, thanks for your report.
There are some ambiguities here that need clarification:
There are some ambiguities here that need clarification:
- Can you describe what was happening and what you mean with the Phoenix being blocked by the repair drones? Blocked, because it couldn't move, or blocked because it wasn't repairing? When loading the save, the Phoenix starts to move to the aux ship after a few seconds. It didn't start immediately, because the assigned pilot was not yet controlling the Phoenix, maybe because you just teleported away from its controls or assigned a new pilot to the ship?
- It appears that the engines are being repaired by the repair drones, maybe the Phoenix's engines were destroyed or heavily damaged which rendered your ship not being able to move?
- You said you ran into the issue before - how did you witness repair drones blocking ships from docking / repairing at aux ships?

Re: Repair drones preventing repair at Aux ship
The ships wasn't repairing at all. Just circling around auxiliary ship. I assumed it was because of the two drones outside, because previously I have witnessed similar behavior with drones blocking the ship. For example I had an unresponsive cargo drone that prevented me from doing anything and the ship was stuck in some command. If memory serves well, it was "recalling subordinates". I waited like 10 minutes and nothing was happening. The drone was nearby, but it refused to move. Another instance was, when I manually drove a ship through a gate and it was similarly stuck. It turned out it was waiting for the drones there were left behind in the previous sector but neither the ship, nor the drone were willing the go through the gate to rejoin. I think it may be another issue I already reported - general inability to dock at aux ship, so you can close this report.
Hmm, I think shooting down the drones solved the issue, and the ship finally parked, but I am not 100% sure. If it happens again, I'll let you know.
EDIT: Yes, the engines were damaged from boarding. I assumed it wasn't docking because it wanted to repair the them on its own before docking, or something. Oh, now I recall. Shooting them down did help. So that's why I wrote it was the drones that was blocking the ship.

Thanks for your response.
The ship not moving cannot have been connected to the repair drones themselves, as they work differently than e.g. cargo or defence drones. The likeliest cause was that the AI pilot was not actually at the ship console, usually indicated by the ship not being comm-able or the normally blue (active) order indicator on the map being greyed out. This can e.g. happen if you were piloting the ship yourself or if you assigned a new captain. If you happen to see it again, be sure to shoot us another report.
Until then, fly safe!

Re: Repair drones preventing repair at Aux ship
Just a followup to that. We did identify an issue with the pilot getting stuck en-route to their work location but it clears itself up after a few seconds and the ship then appears to park just fine. While we've fixed that issue it doesn't seem like it would cause the ship to get stuck for a long time. If you get this again while the pilot is already at their post that save may help us investigate any other cause.
