[suggestion] The cutlass bed as an alternative to SETA

Post by MakerLinux »

The space sim game Outer Wilds has a time passing feature where you get in front of a bonfire and then "nod off", with the screen going to black and the game informing you of accelerated time passing.

Since the cutlass is a new ship that has a bed, it feels off that it is non-interactive. What if this bed could serve as an alternative to SETA, with the same 600% time acceleration with even more limited interactivity? And it would work even if the player hadn't fabricated SETA and it would also be interrupted by notifications.

And other ship interiors could have this bed too, maybe even the personal quarters base module. Would be very faithful to the worldbuilding.
