I noticed when using a 16bit channel PNG for the player logo, it makes the ship turn invisible. Easy enough workaround: just use 8-bit. But I'm curious if it signals a different problem somewhere in the logo system.

Xenons hate that one little trick.
I don't think a save would help in this case. However, a png file could potentially help a lot.

Ah yes, sorry.
The following link contains two logo files, one saved as an 8bit channel PNG, the other a 16bit channel PNG (both named to match).

I noticed that only the primary logo causes this effect. I tried changing just the `_glow` logos to 16bit, and they merely made the glow effect disappear

Support added, will work in the next major update.
Though (before you complain;p) you likely won't see any visual advantage (feature deferred till later).

Sweet! Honestly I only discovered this because my editor defaults to 16-bit channel PNGs and I often forget to update it to 8bit
