Please for the love of all that is holy, let us skip dialogue.

7.0 did a lot for this, but there are a few places remaining, almost like they aren't all using the same system for this stuff. Dalbusta for instance, the Join the trade league bit. There are also a few other spots like this, really annoying.

Try hitting the space key, it should skip dialogs.

That doesn't work for some. Do the dal busta starting missions when you're in the HAT station.

7.0 did add the spacebar skip thing which is very nice, just doesn't always work, like in the above. Or if you're in a ship, it's inadvisable to try out of habit. Can make friendly people not very friendly.

The skip dialog doesn't seem allow you to skip one of those cinematic-ey like dialogs where Dal and Reen are walking around and the like. You also have the same with other cinematic scenes such as the Welfare research for the Gambling Den, you can't skip the scene where the owner is discussing the race or the actual race scene itself and are required to watch the whole thing.

This has become more further gameplay suggestion and discussion than Tech Sp, so over we go to the gameplay forum.

I consider them bugs as having the ability to skip being present for most but not all dialogue is indicative that all dialogue should be skippable. Hence the Tech Support post.

It's not a bug. There are certain types of dialog that can be skipped, and others that can't. There are reasons for this differentiation, and this isn't something we're likely to be able to change.

The first time I heard Dal Busta I turned around and walked out of the room and had nothing to do with that DLC'/ plotline and never heard him again ,,, If I had bought Timelines I would have done exactly the same with that idiot voice/chatter of who ever he was "Boss " character.,,,,
EDIT ... May I be taken out the back and shot if I ever get senile enough to believe either character added anything to the game other than to insult ones intelligence.
