Is there a way for a ship set on Repeat Orders to sell all missiles it's carrying?
One of my ships is set to collect drops around a defense/trade station I've built. I've added a bunch of various Sell Ware orders so it can empty its cargo and pick up more, but I find no way to add any orders that will sell missiles. I have to manually fly that ship to an equipment dock or wharf to sell them without losing all of the repeat orders. I'd rather not have to do that, and loads of missiles are being left laying around. The value of wares and missiles is small compared to the value of the player inventory stuff the ship is picking up, but there's no sense in leaving money laying around if it's free.

I feel your pain, it would be good if we could issue an order to the captain to 'Upgrade/Repair' at a local wharf, unfortunately this is not a 'Repeatable Order' and as you say, your only option is to jump in the pilot seat and do it yourself. I made the task less tedious by using an Osprey which can scoop up a fair amount of cargo and also 100 missiles.

You don't have to manually fly it, but it is a manual order, fortunately not one that has to be done all that frequently.

Re: Automatically sell missiles?
The remote order to Repair/Equip is not available when the ship behaviour is set for Repeat Orders, so I either have to manually fly it or change the behaviour to something else, send it to sell missiles, wait for that order to be complete, and then reprogram all of the repeat orders. But reprogramming the repeat orders requires babysitting it for quite a while to catch it filling up on each ware since I don't think I can tell it to sell wares that it doesn't currently have in its cargo hold. Just flying it is much simpler and less time-consuming.
I was hoping there was some other way to empty unneeded missiles through fleet resupply or something, but I've not been able to figure anything out along those lines. It seems like missile bombers would become useless if they fill up with missiles incompatible with their weapons, so resupply should have a way to handle that. I guess my expectations for such a simple thing are too high.
Is there an in-game scripting tool like there was in X3TC? If so, maybe I'll see if I can script my own loot goblin behaviour. I had a good time playing with making simple scripts back in the day before Minecraft stole me away.

I haven't tried this yet but maybe there's a way for it to exchange wares with a ship that can hold lots of missiles, within repeat orders.
Also I've never worked with a supply ship and don't know the mechanics, but perhaps there's a way for a supply ship to snatch any excess missiles from a ship within its fleet

TBH I 'd rather see missile handling reworked. Drops should go to cargo, and turrets or launchers should be (automatically) loaded with ammo when docked from cargo or bought.
I collect missile drops and I don't even know which ones are loaded into a ship's turrets when you have multiple in stock.

You can see what missiles are loaded to launchers via ship equipment information screen (where you can also modify which weapons are active in each group).

Honestly, I would just ignore missiles entirely. They’re really cheap, so selling them doesn’t earn you much. Flying away for long enough to sell the missiles probably means you lose out on picking up something valuable.
