[Request] Colorize (potential) Illegal Inventory Items

I think this doesn't need to be explained in detail.
Food is tagged with a red colour in the entire universe because the Vigor Mafia is blackmailing the Riptide Rakers, basically long lost Argon and Teladi fellows, but we still have to go through cumbersome descriptions to see which of the bazillion inventory items may cause trouble with local authorities...

But that should be somehow visible on the personal storage on the HQ already, the only place were you have reason to interact and sort out the items, not only then when you already in breach with local laws. I wont travel the universe to check whether the stuff in my pockets is allowed or not. You wouldn't do that in real life either.
And that is the reason why I didn't even notice that, because I have little to none reason to ever look in the personal inventory other than the storage in the HQ.

If you're in neutral sector or sector you own then there's no illegal wares (in case you haven't set such for your own sectors).

And as player when you have better reputation with factions (I think you don't need police license) local aithorities don't even scan ships you fly personally.

I have do many AGI* and hacking tools in my inventory and don't remember since when last time I was scanned.
Bigger problem is NPC controlled ships whom collect containers / rocks from space. They can get caught by police.

That's not the point. The request is simple and so is the reasoning. To argue it becomes meaningless at a certain stage should not even be argued. You can conceal your cargohold with the proper mods and food rations and water are still colorized anywhere in the universe, even with a nice tool tip to which faction.
