Resource probe
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but in a mission i have to find x minerals. I have to pick up and place resource probe 2 -3 x before it accepts that the material is there in the abundance required. This is new as they used to just detect even if they were already placed. Used to have missions like this auto complete after picking them up. so it could actually be working correctly now just annoying.

Re: Resource probe
With so little information, we are not going to be able to answer whether or not there is a problem. Please provide the information requested in the very first thread at the top of the forum, including a savegame with the mission in question active.

Re: Resource probe
My experience over several versions is that already placed probes do not trigger the mission completion but that you have to drop (maybe after pick-up) a qualifying probe to do so.
Also there may be rounding differences between the probe display or its averaging across volumes (rounding up) and the mission requirement display (rounding down) that could mean that the mission is quite fussy about exactly where the probe is dropped over the different resource density cubes that make up the 3D map (ie small differences in location may matter).
