Are there any problems or bugs with the Paranid turrets?
On the one hand, my friend Pesanur tells me that they have very bad aim against small ships. He has observed that the Holly Trinity stations are systematically devastated by pirate fighters that attack them; the stations seem unable to defend themselves against them.
On the other hand, I read in the Forum what Pittlebelge says here:

Can someone clarify if the Paranid turrets have some kind of problem?

Under what circumstance are TRI stations getting attacked by any remotely significant force of pirates?
Anyway I have not noticed any particular bugs with them, but also, all turrets in my experience except beams will throw most of their firepower pointlessly into space when firing at S ships. Even M pulse turrets, while hitting more often, seem to waste a lot. I think that is by design, they probably want it to look cinematic.
If you really want to be sure, I guess you could use a custom start and go attack an undefended Paranid station yourself to see if for instance its turrets shoot past your ship when it isn't moving.
