7.10 release date?

Anyone know how long the 7.10 will be in Beta before being released?
Started a new game with 7.0 and was looking forward to flying the Odachi, only the turrets don't seem to work, which is a shame as it looks awesome and would have been my main player ship.

So, just wondering if it's worth continuing with my current game or wait until 7.10 is released?
