[Feedback] There should be weapon modifications for missile launchers

Installing modifications (ship equipment modifications, not game mods!) is a really fun part of optimizing your own player ships in X4.
I've been playing a new game in the 7.10 beta. Playing with the Sapporo has made me realize there's almost no point in modifications for missiles- the only one that seems to have any effect is reload speed.

This seems like an opportunity to make new modifications intended for launchers. This could be used as a way to partially alleviate logistics issues with missiles, too.

Examples of possible launcher modification stats which could exist:
Missile Capacity
Missile Damage
Missile Speed
Missile Maneuverability
Missile Hull Durability (Make missiles harder to shoot down)
Missiles Ignore Flares
Missile Ammunition Regeneration (Slowly refills used ammunition automatically. This could be a fun Exceptional weapon mod)

I also think this needs to be looked at.

At the moment we can fit any of the mods to a missile launcher slot, but its not clear at all if there is any benefit from any of the mods qualities that they are making any difference.

Some very nice ideas in the OP in the examples given :)

Problem with the most of your suggested improvements (e.g. speed, damage, hull, ignore flares) would mean each individual missile should be modified and not the launcher. This because each missile is already built and could be moved from ship to ship / station.

Projectile / beam weapons are different as it's weapon generated energy so weapon parameters affect to that. And you cannot move those to another ship / station.

Capacity and refire rate seem like they might work.

I think the sensitivity to flares is part of what sets them apart from each other though.

I don't know if it actually makes any difference but I have been applying the 'Projectile Lifetime' mod to some tracking turrets in the hope that maybe my guided missiles spend a bit more time tracking targets but I'm probably dreaming :)
