[7.0] Landing Pad Alarm has become almost inaudible

After this thread suggested it wasn't just an issue on my end, I figured I'd do some testing and report this.

On an M pad, I've found the siren for raising/lowering the pad is audible but quieter than I remember, while near the middle of the long-edges of the pad. Standing at the middle of the short-edges (e.g. near the interface for raising the ship) it is much quieter and sounds very far away. My guess is that it plays from the centre of the pad and falls off dramatically over range, but since nobody hears it standing in the centre of the pad this seems like an odd choice.

On an S pad, it's completely absent. I honestly forget if there was a difference before, did the S pad ever have it?

For the record my audio settings are

total: 100
music: 80
voice: 100
ambient: 80
UI: 80
Effects: 80

This is just so that I don't miss dialogue. I'm comparing the volume of the siren to other non voice audio.

I doubt it is specific to any save but I was testing it here on the PHQ by raising and lowering ships remotely while standing in different locations. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WbIEFr ... sp=sharing

If this change was intentional to limit its range I think it would make more sense to distribute the audio to more locations. Maybe near the PA system speakers? Even with only stereo headphones for direction, the current location and falloff feels weird when I hear it.
