Game Crashes In Timeline 7.00 (No Mods)

Post by Mertaw »

I was originally having issues with the game crashing in the Open Universe but I changed my resolution down from 4k to 2k and changed the Audio settings in game from default to the one I am using and it seemed to resolve things. Fast forward I decided to purchase the bundle of DLC and started Timeline today and I have been having crashing through out the first four missions and mainly on The Fade one where I have stopped until I can get this resolved.

Unfortunately I'm unable to access your files as I don't have a Microsoft account.

Your onboard Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770 device is enabled but does not seem to have a valid driver installed. Unintuitively, both dedicated and on-board graphics need to have valid and updated drivers (and hence Vulkan) as they seem to handshake during Vulkan games every so often.

You are also having many serious issues with OmenCap.exe which is part of the HP Omen Command Center software for capturing and managing the screen display settings. I would definitely get that sorted too - or just disable use of it while playing.

I originally had the onboard graphics Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770 disabled in device manager and also OmenCap.exe disabled along with the other Omen software that is running in the back ground. It is still crashing for me and not just in Timeline I am discovering. I really have been enjoying this game and really want to get the problem resolved.
