Has anyone made a mod to unlock the rewards for timelines?
I have played through to Graph 6 now, not enjoyed it at all, and have now completely lost the metaphoric will to live. I just can't get myself to do the remaining missions. However I do want to unlock the "rewards" bit as I'd love to play with the new capital ship and get the new sectors and faction. I mean, have paid for the DLC.
If not that's probably fine.
I have got a huge amount of joy from the sandbox game, which is brilliant, over the years so I don't begrudge them the money. Just sad I'll not be allowed to play with the new toys as things stand
Is there a timelines unlock mod?

You don't need a mod - just check out this thread @Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/app/392160/d ... 7672527594
There are two files responsible for tracking progress. The user Wraith provided those two files of his were he had unlocked everything.
Backup your 2 files before trying that out - as those track other progress as well, mostly relevant for e.g. the custom gamestart editor (budgeted))
Then copy over the files from Wraith, load your sandbox game and you should find the unlocks.
As a sidenote - if you load your most advanced save, the loading progress will update your userdata_signed.xml with the progress in your save. So at best you don't have to remove the userdata_signed.xml from Wraith anymore.

Re: Is there a timelines unlock mod?
No, because you are basically using the "signed userdata" of a user who already unlocked all the things available in Timelines. You'd only get a modified if you open the userdata_signed.xml file and alter it's content. The other file, userdata.xml can be changed without triggering the modified. As a sidenote - in that file you could e.g. unlock hidden gamestarts (like the Teladi one) among other things. Userdata.xml is basically used as a "Timelines progess save" whereas userdata_signed.xml stores the unlocks.Vovadrik wrote: ↑Tue, 25. Jun 24, 21:23Does it make game modified?chew-ie wrote: ↑Tue, 25. So using that file will affect Timeline unlocks and budgeted start money and unlocked ends of stories?chew-ie wrote: ↑Tue, 25. +1000000
1. Please do more on NPC civilian/uniform variety, and bio customisations, Devs.
2. Stations need sirens/warnings when enemy is close in numbers or Station in danger of destruction (in Sandbox).
Yes, for immersion. Thankyou ahead of time. (Edit: This is actually happening!!!)

Re: Is there a timelines unlock mod?
but if the signed user doesnt match up with the account thats playing couldnt that cause a modified tag? or if someone is using it and made a save after swapping those files can they confirm if they save from that point forward does it tag the game as modified?
also not sure if being online(Game setting) or not could affect it but it very well could.
