The unlocked ship in Mists of Artemis. Is it THE ship?
That is to say, is the Sopporo you can recover in Mists of Artemis supposed to be one of Nathan Gunne's fleet, or is it supposed to be not just one of the fleet, but THE Dragonfyre (given that it has the same Omega Shift paint job that the Dragonfyre has in the scenario)? What say you all?

If I recall, the actual ship was revealed in X1 to have crashed on Argon Prime, shortly after getting all the Xenon through the gate from the Sol system.
It's really confusing, because the Sopporo is identical to the Terran capital ship in X1 that you only see during the tutorial. I just find the thought of the Terrans using the same class of ship for at least 800 years funny, then when Kyle Brennan disappears, they suddenly decide to have a massive fleet overhaul and build the Torus all within ~20 years.
But no, it's not "THE" ship.

Well i meant it was the same paint as the one we used in the timelines mission, if that is accurate with the story or not, i leave that to experts.PersonyPerson wrote: ↑Mon, 24. It was a small fleet of at least 3 ships that lured the Xenon through Earth's jumpgate. The Dragonfyre crashed on Argon Prime, what happened to the other two ships is unclear.
From the intro of X-BtF we know that it took the Terrans 500 years to recover from the war. So it's quite possible that the Sapporo and the command ship are the same ship model.
The encyclopaedia says that the Sapporo was actually intended as a science/research ship.

So, it has been a very long time since I played X Beyond, or read the lore document, but my fuzzy memory tells me it was the AP Gunner that crashed. I must be misremembering, or conflating a different crashed ship with the Sapporo-class Dragonfyre from the scenario.
Come to think of it, wasn't the AP Gunner like a smaller, corvette sized ship? Boy, there sure are a lot of years of playtime to try and remember back through these days, LOL.

The AP Gunner (AP Sonra 44) crashed on an asteroid and was recovered by Julian, Bret and Saya in the X2 plot. Yes it's a M6 corvette class.
The Dragonfyre, Nathan R. Gunne's ship, crashed on the planet Sonra, which was later named Argon Prime. We know this from Nathan R. Gunne's logbook, which has to be salvaged from an asteroid in Chin's clouds in the X-BtF plot.

It actually make sence that X-Shuttle was launched from "old" Sapporo class ship, rather than from Valhalla or other modern ship - if something went wrong with experiment, all you lost was X-Shuttle and old ship.PersonyPerson wrote: ↑Mon, 24. It's safe to bet one of other two is the ship drifting in Mists of Artemis

The ships probably aren't *the* exact ones, but replicas made by the Sohnen
