How the hell are you supposed to get through Escape from Faulty Logic: The Ferryman Node?
You land your ship on the exploding refinery, pick up the people, take off and fly to the station opposite side of zone and land.
Station blows up and the mission is over, I don't even get a star!
It takes the full timer 1 minute 40 seconds to just make one drop off at the Equilibrium centre, how is one supposed to make several passes, it is quite literally impossible!!!
What am I doing wrong? Or is this node just bugged?

I don't like how not explained this mission is also, what you need to do is play it once, leave the nodus machine completely then re-enter it and 2 new missions appear, you need to complete those ones and the better you do in them the more time you get in the Ferryman mission.spankahontis wrote: ↑Mon, 24. The engineer mission should give you more time, the escort mission should thin out the Xenon blockade allowing you to fly a more direct route.steelman111 wrote: ↑Mon, 24. Yeah, thing is, the engineer in the intro says that you can "delay the stations destruction". So I tried repairing the station in my space suit myself.
Didn't work. Wasn't until I saw 2 new missions unlock that the penny dropped.
But yeah, it's extended my time, just need to thin the Xenon herd I guess, cause I keep getting tailed and picked off when I try to land.
So I guess it's engineer first, Fighter pilot second, then transport last?

I think the tip about the engineer repairing the station should occur after the mission failure. As it currently stands it is not obvious at all that the mission failure unlocked 2 new missions.
Now the question is...does getting 5 stars in every mission unlock something else?

I'm also curious if it's worth it to 5 star these. My engineer run went pretty well, until I ended up "colliding" with the station twice in places there was no visible object.
Rather not repeat them if I don't need to.

And we all know how James Tiberius Kirk solved it.
All and all it's a progressive-retroadvancing sequence: do better in the side-missions and you will get more chances in the main rescuing race. Yes it's another race!
