Several things are rather wrong with the new Odachi.
First of all, when you dock, the front landing gear is in a state of panic, glitching very rapidly between open and closed state. I can't even capture it on a screenshot, because when I take a screenshot it will show whichever degree of being opened or closed the landing gear was at the moment.
Secondly - the vertical lockers inside the vessel itself open in an unhinged way. Literally. The doors to the lockers fly off the hinges, do a spin, then align in an open, or closed, position, depending if you were closing or opening, obviously.
Thirdly - the turrets are upside down.
I also had one instance when the exit elevator became non-interactive after docking. I had to reload a save for it to work adain. I suspect it had something to do with me getting out of the pilot chair while docking, but before the ship touched down on the landing pad, and running to the elevator. I'm not sure, because it's the first time ever that I encounter such a bug, didn't have them with the Boron ships, which also use those fancy elevators.
One extra bug I noticed just now, so I'm editing the post:
When I accepted a transport quest, the NPC who was supposed to come onboard the Odachi, just stands there next to the lift, making it impossible to continue the mission.
Also the pilot teleports in and out of existence instead of getting up and walking away/coming in to take the helm, when the player interacts with the pilot seat.

I have seen the same glitching landing gear problem as mentioned above.
In terms of the NPC boarding issue that happens with any NPC (mission or hired crew). They walk up to the boarding elevator and just stop and never get on. Luckily with hired crew, if you take off they magically teleport on board.
I have also had the captain teleports in and out of seat when you get up or take over command.
I also had the boarding elevator become stuck once when i docked. since then I have used Shift-D to board the ship every time i am ready to leave a station.

The optical bugs aren´t the worst. Biggest problem is nen non functional turrets. They just dont shoot... This need a check by the devs.

saw a post on reddit where a dev responded that the upside down turrets will be fixed in an upcoming patch

Yes, all the mentioned visual issues, and the associated firing problem with the turrets, will be fixed in a forthcoming update.
No need to do anything else regarding those but for the other issues we're going to need separate report threads, one per issue, each with a bit more information about what the issue is and how to reproduce it. Screenshots would probably help here.

You can at least enter the ship, I can't enter it, teleport to it or put a captain on it.

7.0 Bug report. The new ship Odachi has 3 bugs. Bug number 1 when landed on a station the front two landing gears are glitching while landed.
Bug number 2 when leaving the pilot seat the NPC captain is stuck hovering over the chair and doesn't move back to transport room.
Bug number 3 the Odachi's turrets will not fire.

@ dappakdj: I've moved this to Tech Sp where it belongs, and where more obvious things tend to have been reported to the devs before.
