Flashing splashscreen when the game window is unfocused [Linux]

Game Version: Linux native X4 Timelines 7.0, English

Game start being played: Timelines mission's, however the following issue happens everywhere else.
Problem: When I unfocus the game window, either by the use of Alt+Tab or changing volume using keyboard media keys. A splash screen like the one seen when the game starts will flash. When focusing the game window again it flashes again and disapears. The issue only happens when using Wayland, switching to X.org fixes everything.
System: Archlinux KDE Plasma Wayland, with the following hardware specs: Radeon 6700 XT, AMD Ryzen 5 4500, 32 GB DDR4 RAM.
