Possible bug in map mode

Noticed that ship is stationary or "0" velocity hitting the M key to view map or ship information key puts ship into reverse. When viewing map ship icon moves backwards. Noticed this during the Torus mission I'd get up to use spacesuit to see ship backing away from the Torus gate. Anyone else experienced this?

"Anyone else experienced this?". Not in vanilla 6.20 which this forum refers to. I recommend that you check your in-game key bindings for duplications - especially relating to the M key.

Probable silly suggestion for the Torus, but nearby anomalies can cause strange ship movements.
