Scripts in Cat/Dat format?

Post by Howlingmad »

Is this possible?

I want to combine a few essencial scripts with a mod in a single Cat/Dat format, to save hassle and make it easier to place multiple scripts and mods in game.

Will this work?

I seriously doubt it.
You could try it though, pretty easy to check.

I'd have thought it'd work without any effort at all - just make sure they're in a "scripts" folder within the cat/dat files... in fact, as I recall this is how the 75mw Shield/HQ mod works, so go for it!

DAMN!!, it doesn't work. It will recognise the mod features but will ignore the scripts.

Anyone got any other ideas? :? :(
