Help trying to mod BC-304
Hi everyone. Never posted on a forum before. I am trying to find out how to mod the engines and shields on the Bc-304 Stargate mod on the Nexus so it will work on the latest patch but everything comes up as a dead end. The modding tool says I need access to download and no one seems to have tried modding the ship. Any help would be appreciated

Look at these first:

Then decide whether you really want to commit to learning. If yes, then look for more related content and message Brumm or Axeface. Alternatively start looking at up-to date ship mods as an example.

Re: Help trying to mod BC-304
Hi, Made this with nearly 2 Weeks (aproximately 12-14 hours) learnikg Time for own usage myself.
You Just need a XML able editing Software like VSCode or Notepad++ to your likings.
If there are more questions, the inofficial discord is a wonderful place for help.
The steps:
1. Get the Egosoft Cat Tool and unpack the mod.
2. Open the bc304 XML file in Mod_folder/assets/units/l_size/
3. Search for the entrys that define the Shields.
4. Now add the " standard" Tag at the end of the Tags= (you Need 2 spaces between the last Tag and your standard entry.
5. Now Safe and use the cattool again to Pack all the mod files to a Xrebirth Pack, Name it ext_01 and put it back in your mod folder.
If i reach the mod Creator, i will Just Update and reload it.
