6.20 beta is off now. But I still have "public_beta" tag next to game in steam. So I assume I was switched to regular beta. So:
1) Is there any difference between current beta and 6.20 legacy?
2) May I switch back to legacy? And what I should know/prepare before?

Re: Beta save file and switching back to Legasy version.
If you are on the 6.20 beta branch you should be able to switch to the current live branch without issue. Egosoft usually updates both beta and live builds at the same time during a major release that was beta tested. The two should currently be the same, so no additional download/update is required. Switching to the live branch is what I would recommend at this stage.
If you stick to the 6.20 beta branch then sometime in the future it might update to 6.XX or 7.XX betas when those hit the public test branch. Since this could happen with little warning, this is why I do not recommend sticking to the beta branch between betas.
You cannot downgrade to a legacy (older than 6.20) branch and keep playing your current 6.20 saves. You can load up saves made with the legacy version in question or older legacy versions, but saves made with newer versions are not compatible.
