GOG unable to download

Has anyone else been having issues with GOG galaxy and X4. I was initially just unable to update my Beta installation and made the mistake of trying to reinstall and in the process am now unable to install both beta and non beta channels. The egosoft website also seems to down.

Other games seem to be working fine.

There were issues GOG had with their Content Delivery Network about two weeks ago, but since then that has been resolved.

Egosoft since then have successfully uploaded 6.20 beta 5 and beta 6

Since beta 6 went up though I haven't had a need to download it, so currently I don't know if anything's wrong at GOG.
Two days ago I downloaded Baldurs Gate 3 (which is a huge download), and yesterday I downloaded Hotfix #1 to BG3 ..
.. So for me up until yesterday afternoon all seems fine at GOG.

That sounds like this issue being reported in the beta forum.

Maybe although for me I can't even get GOG to redownload the game on either channel. It does sound similar to the CDN issue though.

Foolishly I uninstalled thinking it was a local problem.

The egosoft servers seem to be back however I'm still unable to download. I've reached out to GoG however haven't heard a thing. Anyone else having this issue?

The only thing I can think of is to check that you are logged into the correct GOG account and using the right e-address/username for the X4 downloads when you try. I know that Steam is sensitive to SteamIDs and such and so GOG may be somehow similar.

Thanks for the suggestions. I finally managed to get somewhere. It seems to be an Australian GoG server issue and firing up my VPN seems to have fixed the problem. Never heard from GoG after 5 days.
