I have vsync enabled and run at a constant 59-60 FPS (140+ when disabled). The graphics card is not taxed in any way during gameplay but when I attempt to manually deliver wrecks to a processor for the circular economy achievement my frame rate tanks and never recovers til I save and reload - It has gone as low as 0.8 FPS.
I've recorded a video using radeon relive (17 minutes long) that shows it happening. It seems to be variable on how long it takes before it's unplayable, I've had it badly stutter after a single delivery to being able to do 3-4 before I have to save and reload to continue. I avoided using the map so it's pure wreck delivery.
I start the video with a quick fly-by of the station (in Family Nhuut) so you can see my FPS in the bottom right, and then I start the deliveries. You don't need to watch the entire length, just the start and then skip to the end to see the affect and then if you do believe it's something dodgy then at least you have everything available. Machine specs and link to the video written below.
Sidenote: I have huge stations in other sectors that dwarf this processor that I can fly around without any drops.
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: Radeon RX 6950 XT
Memory: 2x 16GB Corsair CL30 6000 DDR5 (32GB Total)

Re: Delivering Wrecks tanks performance
For Egosoft to be able to help, you need to supply the info requested in the sticky at the top of the forum, i.e., a dxdiag and vulkaninfo report, along with a savegame when the problem occurs. It's impossible to solve an issue from a video alone.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

Re: Delivering Wrecks tanks performance
My apologies! I figured if it's a game issue then it should be reproducible from the footage as it was only delivering wrecks and nothing special.
I do however notice that I also missed the other bits of information such as purely vanilla and it was 6.20 beta 3 (beta 4 was released after my post). If the save is required then what would be the preferred site for uploading on to that'll accept a file the size of a save game? It's not something I've done in many years and quite a few sites are very spammy with advertisements. Also note that since my original post I have continued playing so would you prefer me to move back to that station before saving again to upload or will you/they have the tools to just move everything back there?

For the save, please return as close as possible to where you encountered the problem, and describe what needs to be done to reproduce it from there. The sticky thread at the top of the forum wrote: ↑Thu, 29. Re: Delivering Wrecks tanks performance
I returned everything to the area and got it set up, saved and did a few test runs but this time it ran smoothly for 5 wrecks, which wasn't possible before (including going in and out of the menus) - I even used the exact same ships.
This issue plagued me for two days while I did the 100 wrecks (had to save and load many dozens of times to do it), so that's with two restarts of my PC (none since I reported the issue) and the only thing that's different is the beta 4 patch update that landed earlier today after my report. I just watched my FPS while doing a wreck (the 5th one and it only fluctuated by 0.01 fps whereas you can see the massive stuttering at the end of the video).
Could it be possible that something within that patch fixed it, or that I may have had a corrupt file (though that would have modified my save?) that the update corrected?
