When I try to play X4 on my laptop *AMD Ryzen 7 5825U with Radeon Graphics, 2000 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)" the game will run great for about five minutes and then the screen will start losing elements and eventually go completely black and I have to alt tab out of the game. The computer does not appear to be excessively hot and does not experience a slow down, just the screen slowly goes away.
Any ideas on why this would be the case? It appears to me it meets the minimum requirements, but I'm unsure.
Thanks.

Without a DXDiag showing exactly what hardware the system has, we can't give a definitive answer, but the most likely explanation is that the laptop simply doesn't meet the minimum requirements. If it only has the GPU that is built into the CPU then it certainly doesn't, for example.

Have you checked thermal probes? (ex: using OpenHardwareMonitor)HopelessArgonRefuge wrote: ↑Tue, 27. Jun 23, 23:13 The computer does not appear to be excessively hot and does not experience a slow down, just the screen slowly goes away.
I experienced similar issues with a graphic card whose GPU had degraded thermal coupling with its radiator: chips runs very hot bot not much of this heat is dissipated so it cannot be noticed via surrouding temperature.
