i discovered a strange bug in X4 Foundations but it was with activated mods. im gonna try to reproduce it without mods.
it happend the first time when i use the highway and after 20 ~ 40 mins later and again using the highway. it escalate complete. in my old savegame before i produce this bug everything works fine. only my new savegame is corrupted
That sort of thing is usually a graphics card or its driver in some sort of distress.
Without a link to your DxDiag and Vulkaninfo (see the 'Please read before posting' Sticky at the top of this forum for what info to supply and how), we have no chance of telling you what is likely to be happening nor its likely causes. It might be worth including your config.xml file in the link as it could be being aggravated by your graphics settings.
While this certainly can happen if a GPU is having hardware issues - overclocking VRAM can lead to similar results - I've also had it happen due to a corrupted driver. As a corrupted driver is something you can sort yourself quite easily, I'd start there.
I'd suggest downloading a a fresh copy of the latest driver, uninstalling the current driver - use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to ensure everything is cleaned up - then install the new driver.
I personally use a Tool called "NV Clean Install" which is like a wrapper for the installation process. It gives you the option to JUST install the needed drivers, and not all the other bloatware and telemetry NV want to install by default. I use this tool for every time I want to update the NV drivers now. Basically, I run the NV Clean Install .exe, point it at the driver I just downloaded and go from there. I think the UI is fairly intuitive, so it should be straight-forward. Best of luck.
