X4 crashes when building Terran ships

Ever since the latest hotfix 4 the game crashes every time a Terran ship is built (timer hits 0 secs) it says X4 has stopped working no error code givern. This doesnt happen when i build with other factions and it is not the save file as i started a new game and it does the same thing. I use mods which are all up to date and were present pre hotfix 4 without any issues.

If your game is modified then we can only assume the mods are responsible. But even if your game were not modified, you haven't provided any of the information requested in the very first thread at the top of the forum that would allow us to investigate.

Got it sorted. it was an issue with the custom preset i had saved. had to delete it and make a new one and now its working

Could you please explain what was wrong with the preset as the devs would be interested in error-trapping any *vanilla* gameplay crash conditions.
