I am going to beat the dead horse here but...
Among numerous issues with the void, can at least undocking be fixed?
It's the best sector for methane mining but 50% of time is being wasted on undocking, L ship undocking specifically.
This is what I mean:
three L ships in the picture are undocking
The ships move away from stations very far away before finally deciding it "safe".
Its a huge waste of time, and very unreasonable. Yes I guess station placement could have been made outside of the map area or something, but I had no idea of knowing THIS was actually an issue.

Please and thank you?

Hope this works?
To elaborate, this is a constant behavior in the void with L ships undocking, not just a one off.
The distance they try to move away from the station before they "undock" is varied, but its never "instant" like from stations in other sectors.
Since its a hazardous region it maybe more problematic with docks that point toward the hazardous areas that the one that points away (like terran 4-dock T) but haven't had time to rebuild and test out different angles more. Plus it's not near the damaging areas so it "shouldn't" really affect undocking.
This might be affecting S/M ships as well but I never really noticed/cared since they never drift away for so long like L ships do like the right side ship in the image (I tried poking at it like reassigning and stuff to see if anything affects undocking but doesn't seem to be the possible and i just have to wait it out)
They do behave/undock differentially depending if I'm OS or IS but the problem still persists in both situations.
Hope that helps.

Re: AI L ship undocking in The Void
Oh and this is not a new issue, I had it long time ago when building a station in the void, but last time I build stupidly close to the danger area so I assumed it was just bad planning on my part, but with this new save station location seemed very reasonable since right next to it was ANT trading station before (blame the xeno not me) yet the ships behave the same. I do believe that it because its still close to hazardous areas but I have no idea to know how close is to close and station near the gate seemed reasonably safe bet.

Re: AI L ship undocking in The Void
Hi, thank you for the report. While I cannot access the savegame anymore due to the link being dead, there will be a fix for an issue which has the same description in an upcoming build. We would greatly appreciate feedback.
