6.0 HF3 Strange Sound issues - Caused by old sound software.

Hello I have a very strange thing happen in my game since 6.0.

If I fly a ship and move it forward/ backward or use the thrusters while i'm watching a youtube video on the 2. screen i get creaking sounds ingame. But this will not happen if the ship stands still.

so whenever someone in the video for example is speaking i get creaking in the ships movement sounds in the same rythm than the voice in the video Its somewhat interfering with movement sounds but not with game music, voice or whatever.

Anyone has this happen too or any idea what may cause this?

It's hard to say without more information. Can you upload a video of the sounds you're hearing? Is your game modified at all? What about your DXDiag and vulkaninfo, as requested in the very first thread in the forum?

The only thing I can take a wild guess at from what you've said, is that you might have a problem with your OpenAL setup, which can sometimes be interfered with by other games. One particular Stalker mod, for example, has been reported to break the sound in this game and cause some odd noises, which might correspond to what you're hearing.

Can I send the dxdiag and vulkaninfo per mail? I don't want to have all that system information public available.

Any suggestions for screen capturing with sound? I only have a capturing tool that does video but sounds are only in the (not free) pro version.

Well forget about it, it seems it was my old creative soundcard software that caused it.

There's nothing personal in a DXDiag, especially if you edit out the PC name at the top, but if you're really worried about it then upload it somewhere with a private link (e.g. Google Drive) and PM me the link and access details. I don't have recommendations for recording tools, I'm afraid.
