X4: Kingdom End no voice for DLC

I chose russian when installing the game. When starting, there is no voice acting for the new DLC when choosing to start the game, everything in the Kingdom End sub-item is not voiced, only subtitles. When choosing a start, all others are voiced normally. Is there any way to turn on English voice acting?

How to solve this problem? Or is it better to play the English version? I see that the game is not able to take standard sounds if there is no localization.

Voice recordings for Russian are some way behind, unfortunately, for reasons beyond our control. You can enable English voice recordings by selecting Russian as the game language and putting -voicelang 44 in the command line options.

The problem is NOT solved by choosing the English language in Steam and downloading 4GB of data, and then turning back to the russian language and downloading another 2GB of data. There is still no English voice acting for the DLC. We'll have to play in English localization.

No, you can play with Russian text and English voices if you do what I suggested. I may have got it the wrong way round though; if it doesn't work with Russian as the selected language in Steam, then it will with English. But either way you need to put in the command line argument as explained. If you have English selected in Steam, then you will also need to add -lang 7 as a second command line argument.

Found on the forum, English language on Steam and -voicelanguage 44 -language 7 in launcher properties.
