Kindom End, No New Shields can be fitted - Modded game.

Hi all

Since I installed Kingdom End, I can no longer fit shields to the Asgard, the Awawn, and many other ships. Also my ships do not navigate properly.
I suspect its some Standard Steam workshop mods I have installed but cant be sure.
Some ships just spin and fly out of sectors.. Some of them I had to fly after, Dock at and take control before they were ok.
Also if I travel to my shipyard, the game crashes, and there are many other issues too numberous to write. its a shame because I currently have 16 hours of Flight time on my current saves. I dont want to start again, I have Massive shipyards (16 XXL yards) etc and Mega supply factories.

That does sound like a mod issue, and it's something you will have to take up with the mods' authors.

yea..

But "The Mod" when I have so many is the issue, and they are only the workshop mods.

Also there is no guarentee it is a mod

It's simple. The devs will not spend potentially wasted time investigating issues in modded games because they already have quite enough to do investigating and fixing issues in known vanilla gameplay.

A good indication that it is a mod issue is that other vanilla players are not reporting it. As to which mod is the cause, well that is the player's problem to find out by a process of elimination through turning mods on and off separately and retesting.

Egosoft has no responsibility nor approval process for 3rd party Workshop mods, nor do they make any commitment that their X game updates and DLCs might not break existing and previously working 3rd party mods.

It sounds like you have an incorrect (older) version of one of the Ship mods installed, which would explain your issues. Also, do you use VRO? The main Ship mods were updated for v6.0 quite quickly, but the required VRO Patches for those mods weren't updated until a little later. Also, IIRC, some of those mods are NOT on Steam / Steam has an older version. List your SHIP mods, and someone might be able to help. Certainly sounds like a v5.10 mod in a v6.0 game to me though.
