Graphic freezes and then game crashes to desktop

Hello,
Since I've started to play X4, I'm experiencing an issue: the graphic freezes but input continue working (because I see I can move the moue pointer and hear sounds effects from hovering menu item etc), and after about a minute the game crashes to desktop. A little window is showed saying "X4 encoutered an error/problem" (<-- I don't remember the exact words). This happens completely randomly it could pass 10 minutes as 1 and a half hour, and I'm not doing anything special when it happens. Even if I play with mouse/keyboard or joystick (Logitech extreme 3d pro). The only thing I noticed, when it happens, my pc read/load from hd and the crash occurs.

Issue specs:

- Vers. 6.1 (just the base game, no dlcs yet)
- No Mods
- It happens even if you star a new game or continue a saved one
- No changes made to the system or game or whatsoever

This is known as a "lost device" error. It happens when the game loses its connection with the graphics drivers, and is unable to reestablish communication within a given time period (usually 30 seconds). We're still investigating why some people run into this while most don't, but here are a some things that people have found that seem to make it less likely to happen:

1. Avoid any overclocking or on your CPU or GPU, and any overvolting.
2. Make sure your memory timings are not set excessively tightly.
3. Try to avoid switching monitors on and off, or doing anything else that might occupy the drivers for an extended period.

Thank you very much for your time. The only thing I'm doing is undervolting my GPU (safely just a little), but I'll try to run the game with stock voltage and report eventually an update. Memories are running with default xmp profile so I don't think they're the case. CPU is running stock.

I think I solved but I'll try to do longer game sessions to test it out even better.
For me it solved the issue setting a parameter into the bios, specifing "Gen3" (RTX 3060Ti) in the PCI Express settings instead of "Auto". I read somewhere that it could be the cause of crashes or freezes in some games. I have to say it seems to run better now in every game. Finger crossed I'll keep you updated if something else happens.
