[#1145][bug] Boron Wharf buys water for the lowest price despite the demand - Devs on the case.

Hi!
Boron S-M wharf in Kingdom End I buys water for 32 credits not matter what demand is! Of course ai does not hurry to deliver it. i run 6.0 HF1 vanilla game.

This appears to be the case for the Provinces Adrift's new Shipyard as well. I am not in a position to provide a save game at the moment, but later in the evening, when I have access to the game, I can provide an example save.

Despite the fact that these stations have 0 water, they don't seem to be adjusting their water price demands upwards at all.

Hi, the issue here is that BOR wharfs and shipyards place buy orders for water using wrong (too low) prices. As a result, they run out of water and can't build new ships. As you can see in my save file, BOR wharfs in Great Reef and Kingdom End I are out of water, but their trade offers for it are at minimum price. That means no water gets delivered to them, even though there's plenty of water available in their ice refineries. Please check this issue, thanks.

I ordered a ship from the Boron Wharf and found that it did not have enough water to complete production. However when I went to ship some more in I found that the Wharf is only paying 33 credits for water, just above the minimum.

I checked and the Wharf is indeed completely empty of water, but is incorrectly flagging it as a "Low Demand". I'm not sure if there is maybe some special pricing going on in this instance with the mission to help the Boron build their shipyard? That's the only special case I can think about here, maybe the water price is capped so that NPC traffic into the system will help build the shipyard before anything else, and after the shipyard is completed (it is) a trigger is supposed to reset the Wharf to normal pricing, but that doesn't happen? Pure speculation on my part.

Please check the 6.20 beta. It lists this issue as fixed in the change list.

If it is not fixed, please start a new thread in the 6.20 public beta feedback forum.

Just to avoid the spead of misinformation, this had no real impact to economy. Only players trying to sell water for profit to wharves/shipyards would have noticed an impact. Water deliveries by intermendiate traders were stil happening in same rate, as they are not impacted by price at all.
