Weird stuttering in main menu and sometimes while playing

Good day,

I have this weird stuttering going on while in the Main menu. The game seems to not have performance issues on my device, as neither my cpu nor my gpu or ram are over 80% occupied, and my mouse cursor is still running buttery smooth (as shown in the video).

I bought the game 2 days ago, and love the game (or what i could play so far). I did not install any mods, and im using the newest version on the Steam client.
As i looked around in this forum and on reddit before, i completely clean installed my graphics driver, so there shouldnt be an issue with that. Also turning of the Steam interface didnt help, neither did enabling '-useallavailablecores' in steam arguments.

I hope someone has at least some ideas what could fix that, i would love to play this game more!

This just started happening to me as well. Played perfectly fine 2 days ago. i reloaded my save and every 10 seconds or so the entire thing just freezes up, even freezes the video playing on the second screen. as soon as i tab out everything is perfectly fine and tabbing back in to the game it runs perfect again but after a minute the same thing happens.

That would indicate that your gpu is completely occupied tho, which isnt the case in my game (thats what is confusing me the most)

In the past connected gamepads/controllers often caused problems - do you have any gaming devices connected ?

At the time i was testing different stuff in hope of a fix (and the time of recording the small video) no controller was connected. I have a Audio interface connected, but there shouldnt be any problem with this as far as i know (or at least i newer had any problems with any other software bc of it).

I do sometimes have either a controller or a sim steering wheel connected, but never when starting x4.

Weird stuttering in the game can be caused by station building in boron space (!) (player stations). As long as there are build materials needed, the game stutters every few seconds.
As soon as the stations does not demand materials for building anymore (station is build, everything is delivered), the stuttering stops.

This might be anecdotal, but this is exactly how it went for me (after being desperate that my new computer parts made the game work worse than before) ... all stuttering issues went away the second the station did not need materials to be build anymore (boron space only !). and it is reproducable in my game.
I've had some serious stuttering every 3-4sec.

regarding the main menu - my system is going wild in the main menu. somehow it puts a heavy load on my system, but no stuttering so far.
