Three quick questions, Star Wars Interworlds, yaki, custom character

1. Are the star wars interworlds assets compatible with the base game, kind of how X3AP could have star wars ships wandering around with the vanilla craft?

2. Does anyone know of a Yaki start, where you start out as one, or try to make them a sector acquiring faction?

3. Is there a way to make a custom player character?
