Is there a script that....
...eliminates ramming damage to systems when you still have your shield energy? Fair enough if your shields are down but damage when they are up is well strange. Just lost my Best Buys Locator to a ram with a Khaak M3 - still had 80% shields up...

No there's not . . . sorry.
But there is a script that will add any ware to your ship. You could just replace something if you think it was unfairly removed. I think it's packaged with the Xai Combat AI improvement scripts. Just scroll down in this forum to see the relevant thread, or look here:

Seriously, the AI isn't *quite* so suicidal in 1.3 (but they're not exactly eager to live either)

One of the few things you actually can change... Just go into your config and change your right mouse click to something useful! (if you use a mouse that is) like strafe drive. who needs menu on the right-click anyway!?! Now it's a breeze sailing out of the way of an incoming ship...

You mean there's people that don't use the mouse?QuantaCat wrote:There are people that use anything else than a joystick? Insane.

You comment is as alien to me as mine must be to you. I've tried joysticks - I even own one. It gathers dust - can't stand the things. Doesn't stop me from kicking joystick players butts in other games tho.
