Unknown Sectors

Afternoon all, I've come accross a sector next to wastelands and Interworlds and was wondering how easy it is to change the name of a sector with the modding tools?

I've been having a look through the modding documentation and I can't find anything of relevance. I basically want to fuel my own ego by re-naming the unknown sector to something more appropriate

Not sure how you could do that but you could rename a NavSat with your sectors name. Bit like putting a flag on top of a hill.

You will need to edit the 440001.xml file as this contains all the sector names (you'll need to extract all the data files first). You can then repack you edited 440001.xml file into cat/dat format and then load it as a "mod".
