Hi all,
I’m very interested specifically in restoring ship values to more of them X.3 performance profile. Specifically, the differentiation that existed between the M class vs the S class (M6ish vs M3ish and such).
I am a new to modding in X series, but I have been reading as well as downloading and unpacking mods from the workshop to see how motors implement ship specific changes. I have one question to start:
Is there no global or faction specific or even ship size specific variable to make performance changes on a group scale? I notice the changes to ships done by other moders is done on a per ship level…
So basically, if I wanted to implement let’s say:
M-class +50% shields and hull, and -50% combat speed and -25% agility, I would have to calculate and implement the change per each ship. Is that correct or am I missing an easier way to do so?
