Best M3(+)?

I think for flying around in the universe: LX - looks cool, has some fire power, ok storage, but little slow and not too many op weapons
I was thinking about the Susanowa Prototype too because speed and weapons. But apparently it misses the capability to launch Firestorms from previous game titles .

Can the #deca.cefa mount M/AM-Launchers?? holy

Personally i like the Kea:
great shielding for M3, which also allows ramming manouvers with a great amount of sucess
You can use plasma bursts which allows you to inflict massive damage for rather low energy cost.
Big Cargo space
The slow speed can be improved with pandora tunings

Susanowa Prototype
Tenjin
Blastclaw Prototype
Notus
Aamon Prototype

I personally think the Notus is too sluggish and feels too big (random hits even though you may have dodged). Both Blastclaw ships are great, but have poor number of frontal guns; they are essentially made for plasma burst generators. Notus and Aamon Proto are almost the same ship, with the latter having slightly better stats. Tenjin shines with pulsed beam emitters and plasma bursts but should be speed boosted with pandora boxes. Susanowa Proto is great by itself but has only 155 cargo space. Both Tenjin and Susanowa Proto are also squishy with only 75 MJ shielding. The Eclipse may look really stupid, but 125 MJ shielding and good weapon options speak for themselves. It's nice for carriers, too.

Edit: Just realized that the Eclipse was nerfed in X3FL. It's still decent.

The Eclipse Prototype, Notus and Aamon Prototype were always my favorites cause of firepower and heavy shields, but the Susanowa (almost any version) is also quite awesome for it's speed and the guns it can mount if you plan to use it in sector.

The Ka'hak M3 in sector is also really fun but shouldn't be used alone cause of low maneuverability, but the 3 B emiter are really deadly to anything smaller than a M6 lol.

I really like ATF M3, Thor (M3) and Fenrir (M3+) - great balance between speed, defence and fire power.

Other ships have focus on properties:
Advanced Mamba or Susanowa Prototype if you like speed
Enhanced Chimera, LX, Tenjin and Aamon Prototype if you want to fight
Enhanced Kea if you want to use it as universal combat and transport ship, but it's speed is quite low

Btw, does Xperimental Shuttle exist in game?
