What does the export option in the complex planner do? - answered

In Complex Planner -> Deployment, there are two options: Save to Log and Export. It appears that the save to log option will write to a log file in the Egosoft/X3FL folder, but I am not sure what the export does. I assume it's to export the complex to some shareable file, but I'm not sure where that file would be, or if that's its intended function.

Am I missing something obvious here?

"Save to Log" writes the complex plan to your ingame logbook. "Export" writes it to logfile "log00000.txt" in your Documents\Egosoft\X3FL\save folder.
