...this obsession some of you people have with the Freelancer and/or their board? Its almost like you're trying to create a problem where there isnt/shouldnt be one.
So Freelancer and X lie within a vaguely similar genre - so what?! It gets rather tiresome to read almost nothing but 'Freelancer v X' or 'X has this, Freelancer doesnt'...'blah blah blah'. Yeah, a little bit of piss-taking is fine - until people start taking it too seriously and "insults" start flying. Surely thats a sign that thats enough already, fs. :/

Other pyschoanalyst's. Fortunately, just because one is part of the same profession it doesnt necessarily mean they have the same views and/or agenda, meaning any given pychoanalyst is not 'immune' in a given psychoanalytical process.

Don't participate or read if you don't want to.

I happen to think both games are good and that it's helpful for X if fans of each communicate and discover the strengths and weaknesses of the different games. There are many new, potential X purchasers on this board who have discovered us via inter-board threads.

We're doing our bit, basically, to generate the good word of mouth needed to break X out of it's cult status into the mainstream by reasoned dialogue.
