Request - Replace Falx cockpit with the Katana cockpit

Could someone please make a mod for this? I don't know where to start, never modded visual changes in my life.

Edit: Ok trying to do this by myself:

I extracted the DAT file ext_01 inside the ego_dlc_terran folder.
I located the ship macro files inside ...\assets\units\size_m\macros folder
buuuuut... the cockpit connection for both the corvette file and the frigate file is the same. What gives?

They are both called <macro ref="cockpit_gen_virtual_01_macro" connection="ship"/>

Am I looking in the right place? someone, please help me
