[QUESTION] - Race specific hiring on player owned builds

Has anyone figured out a mod that allows you to make race specific hires when building ships from the player owned wharf or shipyard? The game seems to work fine when you purchase a ship from a particular race, but if you build your own you seem to get a mash-up of every race for your employees.

My last build, (a carrier) in which I was playing as a Free Family Split, deep in Split territory, with an entirely Split designed shipyard, I had only 2 computer generated Split hires out of the 230 hires for the ship. Seeing as my race relations with the Argon are at 0 and the Teladi and the Paranid are around -20, it seems odd that I would be hiring an entire shipload of them including a non-Split captain. (Especially for a military ship.)

Screwing around with a player owned wharf, I built 2000 Asp fighters, and the race ratio seems to be skewed to hiring Teladi - 50%, Paranid - 30%, Argon - 10% and Split - 10%, with over 70% of the captains being Paranid.

This seems to be the case no mater what race I choose to start out as, player owned properties are filled with non player race characters, even when my relations with those other races is -30.

I tried to figure this out while working on an academy mod. Race of crew seems to be determined by the faction of the ship trader and possibly also by the faction of the ship buyer. So a ship will only end up with crew belonging to both the buyer and seller factions.

The player faction is set to be able to hire anyone. I don't think that's safe to change though, as ships sold to NPC factions from your shipyards might end up with no crew. But I never tried it, so who knows.

There's also supposedly a way to specify exactly what type of crew you want to transfer to the ship in the ship trader script, but I never figured out how this works.

The factions only seem to apply to non-player stations. I'm playing as a Split, in Split space, buying a Split ship from a Split designed shipyard that I've built, yet more than 95% of my crew is not Split. If I buy the same ship from an npc shipyard it's 99% or better is of that races shipyard. (Apparently I'm getting all the universes no-talent social rejects.)

Factions that I have a -30 rating with are supposed employees, when I look at the staff I've acquired, (with the exception of npc's that I've personally hired,) are almost all of other races.
