Question about 'collect' orders.

Does anybody know if you can assign a ship as a subordinate, with default orders to collect dropped inventory items?

Eg: fighter assigned subordinate to capital ship that will stay docked and automatically launch, collect dropped inventory items from destroyed ships, and re-dock without having to be ordered every time?

To ships, no, but it I think it may be possible to set cargo drones on an L ship to 'Collect'.

Ok, I normally set special "collector (basic fighter)" ships to each fleet, with the default command "dock" on one of the ships. That way I order them to collect all and the redneck when their done, just thinking it would be even easier to have them do that automatically. I'll have to see of the cargo drones will do that for the inventory items not just wares.
