[Bug] loud battle music on stations/ during cut scenes

Post by sware »

I was starting the hatikwah plot today, but since i‘m -23 with the argons and they are all over the place I mostly hear the intense music that is starting when you see an enemy.
It was so loud that i couldn‘t understand the nice lady offering me a new job.
Since there is never any other music playing on stations (which is sad, would make the atmosphere way nicer) i think this is a bug. It should at least turn down the volume when a plot has a cut scene so that you understand at least something.

I also want to say that it is very nice to finally have some plot missions again :)

Yes.
Beeing enemy with a major faction is a good example for how this battle-music-behaviour just does not work.
So my ideas on this matter:

- It's not good to use battlemusic as an audio-signal for enemy ships in range. It would be much better if we had a some kind of alarm sound we could turn off for individual factions.
- Maybe battle-music should only start playing when you are under fire (or targeted?).

And yes. No music on stations also makes no sense to me.
Maybe the reason is the music playing at the bar (annoyingly, two times delayed against each other)
and at the trader, but to have the music suddenly stop playing at stations is a bad solution.
