Build tasks AI behavior

Can anyone explain to me what does this do?

I saw plenty of factories that need a builder, so i thought id take this opportunity to help factions rebuild by lending them my builders. I set my builders to search of building tasks and all they did was flying around randomly doing nothing despite the universe being full of factories under construction.

is this function even working? Am i doing something wrong?

It's happening in my game too. TEL have a few dozen stations under construction yet no one is building them.

I suspected it was a galaxy claytronics shortage or there aren't enough construction ships and they have no shipyard to build them.

Worked for me in the past, took awhile for them to find work but they did it. I used it to train my crew in engineering.

Wow, I did not know that this was an option! In my game ARG has a hard time against HOP and Xenon. They are running short on trading ships and builders. I Placed my 3 CV in Argon Prime but they've been just searching for an hour now...

The same here. I have feeling it is not working as intended....I don't know however how it is supposed to work since i have never seen it in action.

I have an construction ship set to Find Build Task (Beta) and it just files around, and dose not deploy at my stations awaiting build orders, have to assign it to one station and wait for it to finish build task then assign to next station instead of it deploying to next available station awaiting build orders/task
